15 Weeks or so to go!

Well it's Wednesday! 25 weeks of pregnancy down! I can not believe how fast time is flying. I know I still have three more months, but yikes!!! I only have three more months! I still haven't heard back about the new house :( I am hoping I will hear something by this weekend - FINGERS CROSSED we get it! I did pick out LB's bedroom furniture, I love it! I still need to figure out which crib I want :-/, there are just so many to choose from! Other than that there is nothing new to report. LB is moving a lot!!! I love laying down and just watching my tummy, its amazing that such a little being can move so much!

How far along? 25 weeks

Total weight gain: 8 lbs

Maternity clothes: I picked up some shirts since they are longer than usual but still in my jeans!

Stretch marks: Cream in the AM, oil in the PM!!! Nope!

Best moment this week: Still feeling him move all the time - no one can even begin to explain what an awesome feeling that is!

Miss anything: Most recently Irish Car Bombs :-) lol! My usual glass of wine is missed :-(

Movement: Yes! He's getting stronger!

Food cravings: Sushi like mad!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope

Have you started to show: I think yes but lots of people still say no. I think they're being nice ;-)

Wow! 24 Weeks!!!

I have no idea where the time has gone!?! I can't believe that the third trimester is right around the corner! Everything is going spectacularly well! On Monday I went and had another 3D/4D ultrasound done. I just love seeing him and how he's coming along! He is one long baby, below there is a picture of him in a full pike position! I guess that's the only way he can stretch his little legs out. Since I'm  5'9" and I'm the runt of the family, hopefully he'll get the tall genes! Everyone says he looks just like me :)
It looks like a move might be in the very near future :-/ I love the town that I currently live in but for more reasons than one the current home just isn't practical with a baby coming. I have found a house that I love. Fingers crossed that it works out and hopefully the move will take place sooner rather than later. That also means I have put the nursery planning on hold, but am still excited about getting it all together once we get settled!

Maternity clothes: Not yet... but am picking up some longer t-shirts :)

Stretch marks: Nope

Best moment this week: Seeing his precious little face!

Miss anything: Being tan and sushi!

Movement: All the time, and he's definitely getting stronger!

The first thing I made for my baby!

I just can't begin to describe how much fun and enjoyment I had knitting this baby blanket! Each time I picked it up I would think about LB wrapped up in it, what he might look like and if he'll even like it! ;-) It was such a fun thing to do which means I am sure by the time he arrives he will have lots of handmade goodies!

It has been pretty much raining non-stop here which makes these projects a lot of fun!

Happy Wednesday!
I am so proud of myself for being so diligent with the last few post! Things are moving along very quickly! I had a doctors appointment yesterday and all was good! Got to hear LB's heartbeat, which was precious as always! I am almost done knitting the baby blanket that I am making him. Hopefully I'll finish today or tomorrow. I'll post pics as soon as I'm done :)

I am still trying to figure out how I want to put the nursery together. I am pretty sure I found the furniture I will end up getting, just still trying to figure out what crib I want! I have been looking at a lot of different pictures for ideas on how to decorate and which color schemes I want to use. Found quite a few that I like a lot, but nothing that I absolutely love... I still have some time though!

In the meantime I have been stimulating the economy as far as baby boy attire is concerned! He will be one of the best dressed little men around!

22 Weeks and it seems like just yesterday it was 12!

Not a lot of new developments this week... LB continues to move around all the time, kind of has me frightened of what's to come! I have put on a few more pounds and actually have a little belly this week. Most people still don't believe me when I say I'm five (sheeeeesh! FIVE!!!) months pregnant though.
The spare bedroom should be empty by this weekend which will allow for some real brainstorming on how I want to do the nursery.  I have picked out some really cute furniture that I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with. I'll post pics as soon as I decide.
I'm also still knitting away on a little blanket for him. It puts a smile on my face each time I pick it up because the whole time I'm working on it I'm thinking of him!

21 Weeks!

21 Weeks! I can not believe how fast the time is going by! I'm five, FIVE months pregnant! I'm feeling fabulous, eating a ton and full of energy! Not a whole lot of developments since last week. I have really started thinking about names. This might be the hardest thing I have ever had to decide on. I go to the nail salon and have a hard time picking out a color that I'm stuck with for a few days - and now a name? That's a lifetime! Eeeesh! There are a few that I like a lot but nothing that I feel will be a 100% yes. At least I still have about four more months to think about it!
I am still working on clearing out the spare bedroom. I will actually probably wait until late March before I actually start painting and decorating. So in the meantime I get to toss around a lot of cute ideas. His closet is looking great though! I'm sure that's surprising to most of you! Hah!

HALFWAY!!! Yay!

I went and had my 20 Week ultrasound today. LB has a new arrival date of July 10th and is just perfect! He is, with no doubt, a BOY!!! LOL!!! He is moving all the time and I can now feel him moving not just on the inside, but can feel it from the outside as well! It has to be the coolest thing ever! I went to my Doctor late last week and all was good from her end as well. Still no weight gain but I am guessing that will change any day now.
The spare bedroom is almost completely cleared out so "Operation Nursery" will commence soon! I can't wait! Lots of pics of projects I'm working on to come soon!

Best moment this week: Going to the Doctor and getting great feedback on how LB is doing and seeing his precious self in the ultrasound.

19 Weeks!

I had a doctors appointment yesterday and she found the baby's heartbeat immediately! It is a great, strong heartbeat! Everything is going along better than expected and I go in for my 20 week ultrasound next week!
I started making a sweet baby blanket this week, I'll post pictures once it is done!

Catching up!

Well shocking! I haven't been updating my blog ;/ I promise I'll try to get better!
So a lot has happened in the last three plus weeks, IT'S A BOY!!!
We went to a 3D Ultrasound and saw LB (little boy) sucking on his thumb! It was such a precious sight to see! Everything else has been going smoothly! Still wouldn't know I was pregnant if it weren't for the confirmation of the pictures!

So at 18 weeks, here's the latest!

First Post!

Well Hello There!

If you don't already know by now, I am pregnant!!! As of today I am 15 weeks pregnant with a summer due date of July 12th! I wish I would have started this sooner, for myself and for the baby, but I figure today is better than tomorrow!

This pregnancy was very much a surprise, I was not expecting it what-so-ever. After having some time to digest the concept of being a mommy, I am really starting to get excited. It's been a little crazy - but I am really starting to get excited for this new chapter! I have had virtually no symptoms of being pregnant (knocking on wood), with the exception of frequent trips to the potty and the occasional uncontrollable emotional outburst.

I have started looking at pictures of nurseries online to get ideas on how I want to do mine. I have so many great ideas and projects I want to do while I am pregnant (that still sounds weird!) and I can't wait to share them with you and the new, precious life we will all be meeting soon!

The picture I am posting today was taken on December 21st. I was right around 13 weeks - just starting to feel bloated and looking like I ate too much!
