38 Weeks!

Only a few more days left! I feel like I might be holding my baby very soon! I'm feeling great and am surprisingly still pretty comfortable but something tells me I will be meeting my little man very soon! I had a doctors appointment the other day and the doctor didn't seem to think it was much longer either. At any rate I am so happy and excited! Oh how life is going to change!

How far along? 38 Weeks!

Total weight gain: 20 lbs

Maternity clothes: Just wearing things that are comfy and cool at this point. I haven't bought any maternity clothes in a while so buying things that will work now and later too!

Stretch marks? Not a one! Hopefully I'll get away with out getting any!

Best moment this week? My doctor saying she thinks LB will be making his debut very soon!

Miss anything? Same as last week... flat tummy, working out, a glass of fabulous chardonnay or champagne and shopping for cute clothes in my normal size!

Movement: Still moving around! His little foot is FINALLY out of my ribs! So excited about that!

Food cravings? Still lots of fruit! I think I over did it with the cookies this last week :-/

Anything making you queasy or sick? Not this week.

Full Term!!!

Whoa!!! We made it to 37 weeks! I can't believe I have a "full term" baby! I am so excited to meet this little guy! I am finding myself in his room a lot playing with his clothes trying to figure what outfits I want to see him in first or playing with all of his cute little things! Thank goodness LB is "LB" and not "LG" or else the little girls clothing economy would have a massive surge! There are just so many cute things and I can't seem to control myself when it comes to the clothes! He might just wind up being the best dressed baby in town! ;-) I had a doctors appointment yesterday and everything went great. The doctor said it could be any day now. Although there were times where we thought he was going to come very early, I'm almost getting the feeling that he might be late?!

I couldn't resist and had to go back and get another 4D ultrasound. I am addicted to looking at his sweet face and can not believe how much he keeps changing!

How far along? 37 Weeks!

Total weight gain: 20 lbs

Maternity clothes: From here on out it is Juicy track suits or summer maxi dresses!

Stretch marks: None! :-) :-)

Best moment this week? 4D Ultrasound and knowing that everything is ready for his arrival!

Miss anything? A flat tummy, working out, a cold beer, shopping for normal size clothes and not feeling huge!

Movement: He's still managing to move quite a bit! He still has that one foot in my ribs which is not ideal :-/

Food cravings: Cookies!!! Oreo's and Famous Amos! And Push Pops!

Anything making you queasy or sick? This heart burn is crazy! The Tagamet helps but nighttime is not a good time :-(

Gender: Boy!

Labor signs: A couple of random contractions and A LOT of BH!

Happy or moody? So happy!

Looking forward to: Same as last week, holding my baby!

Four(ish) more weeks to go!

The bassinet actually made it! I finally feel like I have everything I need for this little boy! Well, except the crib. I suppose I should try and make a decision on which one I want ;-). Everything else has been great! Just a few more weeks until LB gets here!

Total weight gain: 19 lbs

Maternity clothes: In this pic my shorts are maternity and I'm wearing an old top I got before I was pregnant :-). Since the weather has been so nice I'm wearing a lot of dresses!

Stretch marks: Still none! I'm knocking on wood!

Best moment this week: Knowing that I have everything checked off my shopping and "to-do" lists!

Miss anything? There are so many cute clothes out right now! I can't wait to go shopping once I get back down to my pre-baby weight!

Movement: He still manages to move around quite a bit. He has one of his feet planted in my ribs which is not comfortable :-(

Food cravings: Cherries!

Anything making you queasy or sick? The acid reflux/heart burn has finally got me... it is miserable in the evenings. I have found that Tagamet works best, but yikes! It's no joke!

Gender: Still XY!

Labor signs: Lots of Braxton Hicks!

Belly button in or out? Still (barely) in!

Happy or moody? Happy and getting very excited!

35 Weeks

I can't believe in 5 "ish" weeks I will be a mommy! I still haven't received LB's bassinet but was assured if it doesn't go out today, it will definitely go out tomorrow. I have everything else ready to go. I have packed my bag, LB's bag and have pretty much everything ready at home. It's becoming very real that there is going to be a baby here very soon! It has also been an exciting week on some other fronts. My precious nephew Mason started walking! He is actually 11 months old today! It has been so exciting watching him hit all of his milestones, I can only imagine how exciting it will be to watch my own baby!

How far along? 35 Weeks

Total weight gain: 18 lbs

Maternity clothes: I'm thinking it's summer maxi dresses from here on out!

Stretch marks: None!

Best moment this week: Seeing him in the weekly ultrasound!

Miss anything: Shopping for clothes in my normal size and cold adult beverages on these warm days ;-)

Movement: He's still moving but its much shorter movement than it was before. Still lots of hiccups!

Food cravings: Peaches, Strawberries, rasberries and cherries!

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope

Gender: Boy!

Labor signs: Ironically now that we're getting close to the end a lot of that has subsided!

Belly button in or out? Barely in!

Happy or Moody? Still happy as can be!

Sneak Peek from Maternity Shoot!

Thought I would share a couple of pics from my maternity shoot. I can't wait to see what the rest of the pics look like!! And of course Coco and Gabbie made a few appearances!

Precious Boy!

I couldn't resist! I had to go get another 4D ultrasound! He still has quite a bit of room to move and gain some weight. I keep saying the last time was the last time but who knows! I absolutely love looking at his precious face!

34 Weeks

Only a few more weeks! So many people have said what a long 9 months (hah! more like 10!) of pregnancy is, but I still can't believe in only a few weeks I will be a mommy to a little boy! Everything has been great lately. I have found myself getting more emotional about things. It could be laughing out loud hysterically about something funny or balling my eyes out because something is sad or touching. Crazy hormones! I did get LB's dresser and changing table, just haven't gotten around to taking pics. This week I have also figured out how all of his contraptions work. I don't want to be the crazy lady in the parking lot with a crying baby and fighting with the stroller because I can't figure out how to get it to collapse! I should have got the one that collapses itself with the touch of the button! At any rate I am figuring things out and am loving some of the features that come with all the new baby gear.

Only three more weeks until LB is considered full term!

How far along? 34 Weeks

Total weight gain: 18 lbs

Maternity clothes: Since the weather has warmed up I am making use of loose fitting dresses!

Stretch marks? Not a one! :-)

Best moment this week: Maternity photo shoot! Pics to come!

Miss anything? Still would love a margarita on a hot day! I am also looking forward to getting a better than pre baby body ASAP! There are so many cute clothes out for summer which gives me lots of inspiration!

Movement: He has definitely slowed down, I guess he is running out of room. He gets the hiccups a lot though!

Food cravings: All the yummy fruit right now! And Oreo's!

Anything making you quesy or sick? Nope

Gender: Precious Boy!

Labor signs: Lots of Braxton Hicks and I have been woken up a couple times in the middle of the night with some crazy contractions... eeesh!

Belly button in or out? Can you believe still in?? It's almost flat but still an innie!

33 Weeks!

I am finally getting to the point where I am ready for this little boy to get here! I can't wait to meet him and kiss his sweet little cheeks! Not to mention dress him up in all of his cute clothes! Speaking of which I will be washing and folding all of them this afternoon! The dresser and changing table are set to arrive today so I can finally start putting things away. It will also give me a chance to see what I might still need, but I think I am pretty much set for his arrival. I talked to the company I ordered the bassinet from and I guess the Artisan is waiting on a shipment to complete the order, so hopefully I will have it next week. I didn't realize it was hand made/made to order. I will post pics as soon as everything is set up and organized.

LB weighs in at: as of the last Doctors appt 3 lbs 15 ozs!

Total weight gain: 17 lbs

Maternity clothes: Still mixing and matching quite a bit, but yes, definitely rocking plenty of maternity clothes.

Stretch marks? Nope! I love my skin! hehe

Best moment this week: Seeing LB in the ultrasound. He is in the vertex position which means he's ready to go!

Miss anything: Going on a summer vacay, an adult beverage and a flat tummy...

Movement: He loves to dig his little toes into my ribs which is not very comfortable, but yes he is still wiggling around in there!

Food cravings: Nothing really, just the usual.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope

Gender: Still XY!

Labor signs: Taking it easy and all has been good!

Belly button in or out? Still, amazingly, and innie.

Looking forward to: Getting the furniture and putting all of his clothes away.

Up too early this morning...

I figured since I was up so early I would post a new pic and give you an update. This week LB's bassinet, dresser and changing table will be here! I am so excited to organize all of his clothes and put everything away. I have major OCD issues! I'm going to wait on a crib for a while but do have my eye on a few. Wednesday's post should have pics of the new furniture and an update from the doctor.

Seems like I have so much to do and not much time to do it before LB gets here. My shower was this last weekend so I have a bunch of things to put together and organize. Not to mention umpteen loads of laundry!!! Hopefully his basinet will be here next week as will his changing table and dresser. Once the changing table and dresser arrives I can begin organizing all of his clothes, bibs, burp cloths and pajamas. I can't wait to dress him up in all of his cute clothes. That is the one thing I have splurged on, LB will probably be in a new outfit every other few hours! Everything else is going pretty good, just trying to rest and take it easy until he gets here!

How far along? 32 Weeks

Total weight gain: 15 lbs

Maternity clothes: Pretty much, yes!

Stretch marks: So far, so good!

Best moment this week? My Baby Shower for sure!

Miss anything: Working out and a flat tummy!

Movement: He is slowing down but when he does move I definitely feel it.

Food cravings: Fun Dips! and anything else sugary!

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope

Labor signs: Lots of Braxton Hicks Contractions. I can tell a huge difference on the days that I don't take it easy as far as contractions go.
